Abstract The jet formation and penetration behaviors of shaped charge with a reactive material double-layered liner (RM-DLL) are presented in this paper based on the AUTODYN-2D code. Numerical results show that wall thickness ratio RM-liner to metal has significant influence characteristics composite jet. As increases, tip velocity jet, pressure RM-liner, temperature RM-elements decrease. effect performance RM-DLL charges against steel targets significantly depends RM-initiation delay time ( τ ). depth (PD) titanium into target is limited. In case RM-tungsten liner, RM-mass following crater very small. RM-copper capability well matched mass follow-thru RMs. Compared PD, standoff more impact entering hole.
